I recently bled my car with Phoenix. I had no problems with that. I have different pump brakes, vacuum and others. This product puts them all on the shelf. Very easy to use. First, remember to prime the plunger before using it. Make sure the outlet valve is open wide enough, otherwise it will be difficult to squeeze the handle, which could damage the pump. Even if you squeeze the handle, do it slowly. I had an assistant use turkey lube to remove excess fluid that was being pumped into the master cylinder. The assistant also let me know if the bladders were inflated. Pumped fluid about 5 times per wheel. Removing the air from the brake lines does not take much time. On the last pump, I didn't release the pressure until I closed the discharge valve. The result was a nice firm brake pedal. Yes it is expensive for plastic. But in all my years of auto repair, this has been the best brake bleeder I have ever used. Just make sure to do it slowly. This will continue for more brake bleed if you don't overuse it.
