Beautiful, heavy and well made. The perfect size for multiple cups of tea etc. The entire handle is strong and very heavy metal with the perfect height. I like that it folds down in the middle of the handles if you need to store it in a small space. It also won't fall on you as it's tight and requires light pressure to fold. The wooden handle is the perfect length and the diameter offers a comfortable and firm grip. The lid is very tight and does not fall out when pouring. The inside is lined with pewter, including the lid. I washed the pot well and boiled the water for a while to remove any remaining impurities and poured it out. I was very pleased that the manufacturer even thought of making holes for filtration inside where the liquid enters the spout (see photo). I usually just pour the herbs into a pot and strain them. I might still need a finer mesh strainer for smaller pieces of herb when pouring them into my mug, but this definitely helps a lot. Overall great workmanship and craftsmanship. I only took off one star because it's a little pricey, but I'd still buy it now that I've seen it in person.
