Review on Sennhesier MX685 Adidas Sports Headphones by Jen Aus

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't notice this for a while and they were terribly uncomfortable, but now I can wear them all.

First a tip: these earplugs are designed to be worn with the curvature of the hook on the lower "cup" (cup in anatomical terms) of your ear with a silver bridge. almost horizontal. I didn't understand this for a while and they were terribly uncomfortable, but now I can wear them all day with no problems. I have weird ears that just don't seem to like the headphones. I used to use the Bose IE2 and IE2 Sport Silicone Stay Hear Earbuds, but the last two pairs I bought had terrible build quality - I returned them both a few months after buying them. I bought them as an everyday pair for cycling and hiking. They promised durability, waterproofing, and good sound quality, and they did it all. So far I've been using them for a few months now and they still look like new. There is no visible wear and tear on the joints and anything that needs to move moves and anything that needs to stay stays. The waterproofing is no joke - I accidentally soaked them a few times while washing my hands, and once specifically to get some dirt off them and they brushed it off like it was no big deal. The sound is excellent and I would expect from Sennheiser. These headphones allow me to pick up background noise in audio recordings that I hadn't noticed before. The bass is as punchy as you can get in headphones, the highs are pleasant and the mids are crystal clear. Of course, you won't get powerful bass from these little things, but they're great for their size and price point. and not very comfortable, but that could be my weird ears again. I tweaked the fit with some sugar putty and they've been fine ever since.
