I bought this pair to wear under my wedding dress and it did its job well. I'm a size 2/3 in bottoms and bought a small. It fit well at my waist/tummy area, but was a little bit tight on my upper thighs. And I noticed that the bottoms of the leg openings would roll up a little bit. Overall, it worked well enough under my wedding dress. I mainly bought it to smooth out my stomach area and it did that. If you were wearing a form fitting dress, it might not work as well due to the leg openings rolling up a bit.
