These are NOT a blend of cotton, polyester and spandex as described - THEY ARE 100% Polyester
The sewn in label in the side seam states that they are 100% polyester. I have never heard of a 100% polyester thing having to be hand washed. So, if having cotton is important to you, this may not be your best option.

- Fabric is too shiny for daytime wear
