With this bag you pay for a picture/message. This is a great gag gift but don't plan on using it for a long time or in general as it will most likely break at some point. The material of the bag is plastic which feels similar to burlap. The design is painted on so it won't peel off, so that's a bonus. The zip is a regular plastic zip that works well but gets stuck at times. The bottom section curves to form a flat surface 2 inches wide along the length of the bag. All in all it's a cute little bag, bright colors and fun little pictures. I would definitely use it myself, but I would definitely give it to my aunt.
