later. This should have worked with my shielded CAT 7 cable but it didn't. First. My fault as they are not shielded and if you have shielded cable you should use shielded plugs and keystone jacks to avoid static discharge. Second, those 26 AWG connectors didn't make a good connection. I must have made over a dozen. I finally got my hands on some shielded plugs and connectors from Cable Makers and they were very simple in comparison and required no tools other than wire cutters. This required a $37 crimping tool.
