Review on 🍝 Gvode Stainless Steel Pasta Roller KitchenAid - Attachable Pasta Maker with 8 Adjustable Thickness Knob by Ray Cole

I bought this to replace a 25 year old KitchenAid pasta roller that had a shear pin that eventually failed after processing over 500 batches of pasta. Using the same noodle recipe, the Gvode device broke on the first try; Midway through the thinning phase, the thickness dial popped out of its latch, made a grinding noise, deformed the roller cam seat, and the next thing I knew, the rollers were still spinning, but no longer parallel. I contacted the Homelike seller who apologized and sent me a replacement. Last night I was finally able to cook pasta again with the changing device. Same, exact result: the dial popped out of the lock, the cam seat was deformed, and the rollers were no longer parallel. Useless. He went to the basket. I have a Gvode chopper/grater which I absolutely love but their pasta roller is disappointing.
