I used them for convenience because we always lose the original. Within a month of receiving it I was having trouble with consistent responses to commands so I changed the batteries. Thought maybe there is a learning curve here and preferred to use the original. Finally we compared 2 and found that this one was faulty. It would not respond without pressing the buttons again, occasionally going back to a completely different window or network, or turning off the TV. I have to replace it soon. It's too frustrating to use even though we don't use it as a primary.
