All I feel is the quality

This is great! When I first reviewed them I thought they were a bit overpriced, but I saw them through the eyes of someone who bought my last spatula at the Dollar Store. I knew the cheap ones couldn't take the heat and were hard to keep clean. I was pretty sure the silicone would hold up to the heat better, the steel-reinforced handles could add extra strength, and the one-piece construction offered cookware that was easier to keep clean. My old spatulas had to be disassembled to clean the area where the handle connects to the head or nasty things would grow there! Then the head gradually broke away from strict purifications, and I began to lose them in my work. *extreme Pet-Peeve* When I first saw her in person, my first impression was that the edges of the harness were too thick. My first impression was wrong. They felt good in my hand and when used performed three bears perfectly; not too soft, not too hard, they were just right. I used a large spatula for the creamy pie filling and a spoon/scraper to cook the scrambled eggs in a hot pan first, then cook and scoop out 5 liters of oatmeal. The spatula was stiff enough to fold freshly cut fruit, but flexible enough to scrape the bowl (there wasn't enough in the bowl for a single lick!). The spoon's handle was more than stiff enough to thoroughly mix and scoop thick oatmeal, while the edges and tip were flexible enough to rest against the sides of the pan for clean scraping. I then put them in the dishwasher and they looked like new. I see a long happy future for these cookware but have to see how well they hold up. Update: Two months of almost daily use and they're still working. I have had a few instances in the dishwasher where water has collected on the surface of the dishes and the heat during the drying cycle has dried them out leaving a noticeable whitish stain of water/mineral residue on the matte surface. It washes out with little effort and it has changed the way I put them in the dishwasher; I no longer leave them flat on the hanger. I put the shortest ones vertically in the cutlery basket, the longer ones I still put horizontally on the top shelf, but make sure that they are "on the edge" or at least are at an angle so that they don't get puddles of water. dry at the end. Update 09/17/2015: All three items are still in use. The two larger items have been used almost every day for over 18 months (which also means they have been washed in the dishwasher almost every day) and I can hardly tell they have been used. The steel reinforcement was not deformed and did not come loose inside. Silicone does not yellow or yellow. They remain flexible and the working edges work just as well as when purchased in February 2014. Updated February 24, 2018. Still in use almost every day. Shows slight signs of wear on the rim of the spoon/scraper when viewed with a magnifying glass, but that's about it. Without coloring.
