Didn't want to wait for them to arrive so he went out and bought a similar pen from Targus. I used it and was impressed by how much easier it was to use than my iPhone drawing finger, so of course I was happy to get mine in the mail. When they arrived I compared them. This one's a little bigger and I mean a little really, not that flashy, they're a little shorter, again not bad, no big deal. They look and feel cheaper (which is what I was expecting from such a low price) but I wouldn't mind if they worked too. But for some reason they just don't exist. I can't figure out how they differ, the tips are almost identical but for some reason they aren't that good. They work but they don't always put the paint exactly where I want it like the Targus does and you have to press a little harder, not hard but just enough to make precise drawings a bit harder. Likewise. and I'm also not entirely sure how it works, but blue doesn't work at all. For example I tried and tried to use it, I couldn't type with it, I couldn't scroll with it, red and black work "ok" but blue just doesn't register on the screen. For example, every third touch works, if you press hard, I think too hard, a little bubble will collapse. And yes, I tried using it like a "brush" instead of just holding it like a pencil. I tried holding it in different ways, at different angles and with different strokes. I'll say if I hadn't tried Targus I'd probably say they work well, but it's like not knowing what you're missing. I thought it was ok until I used one that actually worked well. In any case, no matter how cheap they are, I would still recommend saving $4-5 and getting the Targus. It's much easier to use, made from much higher quality material, and overall more comfortable. I think you can get it for around $11 (which is still very affordable). But that's just me, I'd rather have one more comfortable and easier to use stylus than three (only two of which work) less enjoyable and often frustrating pens.
