Some golf carts appear to draw 16V from a 36-48V 8V battery pack. When switching to lithium batteries, 16V has nowhere to drain; Instead you need a 36-48VDC converter to get 12VDC for your 12V accessories. This device does the job! The included instructions are limited; but it is clear how to connect it to the batteries and charge it. What isn't mentioned is that when you connect a device to high voltage, the device will arc for a second, which most people don't expect. This seems normal for this type of device as the internal capacitors retain some initial charge. This is the same device that lithium battery suppliers sell for $69.
