
Braided cables are great in that 1) they don't tangle as much and 2) they last longer than regular rubber coated cables. braided cables, and they're not all the same. Many still do not have a plug/connector retainer and therefore still fall apart at this junction and soon deteriorate as the braid wears and the wires are exposed. What I love about them is that the piece of rubber that surrounds the male/female connector on each end is longer than most brands and is designed to be flexible.
