Not the best chair for the money. As for personal preference, my son didn't like the solid base. He wants to be able to move in a chair. He also didn't like the position of the armrests. They were too short and uncomfortable (5'10" and 150 pounds) and he left them folded most of the time. a couple of weeks and then the speakers shorted out my husband fixed the problem and the sound was fine for a couple of weeks before it shorted again the store is much cheaper after the chair was about 6 months old my son bought a new chair from another company.
