Update 12/12/15 - I got a pair of these for my daughter. Her zippers were sewn shut,too. She just yanked the zipper down which broke the thread. I tried the same and zippers work fine now. Upgrading to 3 stars. We've had weird weather, so I haven't been able to wear them outside yet.If a product meets expectations out of the box, I automatically give three stars. These boots do not, so two for now.First impressions. Fit is appears to be true to size, which means slightly narrow for my wider feet. Tall shaft as expected. Easily pulls on and off. The shaft is nice and roomy. Soft lining throughout.Chemical smell definitely present. Zippers on both boots are sewn closed about 1/2 way down, so they are useless. Grey is OK on the fabric shaft but the rubber part is a weird greenish color.They are lightweight. They feel cozy. I'll play with them a little more and see if my two stars can improve based on comfort and warmth.
