I've had these slippers for a while and I love them. The fit is great, they hold their shape and they are warm enough for me. The soles insulate perfectly from the cold ground and allow short "expeditions" on the road. I don't use the heel fold feature so can't comment on that but the slippers are just great with or without the fold down heel.
