Update: February 2018 A little over a year has passed. Just last week one (above left) of the eight pieces of tape that was attached to the DOOR fell off and the weight of the mirror knocked the entire mirror over. He lost his stickiness. Velcro on the strips are still strong. I just taped the strip back to the door until I can get more command strips. I don't think the molding would have come loose if I had just left the mirror on the door for a whole year. However, I sometimes had to push the mirror out by pulling on the velcro. I think this is a great buy considering how long I can use these strips (the rest of the strips are still sticky). Used to mount a full length (7lb) mirror from Target to the back of my door. See photos for results. The strips were too long for the surface I was using them on so I halved each strip widthwise giving me 8 pieces to use. This wasn't the best method (must be done lengthways as I only have one side with the tab that will later remove the strip. (The problem was solved by making sure there was at least one tab on each strip. and then glued that side to the surface of the DOOR.) I didn't care that the back of my cheap mirror might be damaged if I decided to remove the strips from there.Installation was easy and took about 15 minutes following the instructions I provided let the moldings sit for a few hours before attaching the mirror to the door.The mirror stuck well.I have opened and closed the door several times with great difficulty to check it and nothing wobbles or even pull the mirror just out the door and install it move it to another location easy to reinstall it's been 1 month and the mirror isn't even down fallen which could possibly damage the surface of the door. to remove. I will update this issue when I remove the strips. All in all a good buy for what I need it for.
