As a former employee for LightRocket Media Manager I can attest that they have really put in the work and resources required to build what is now one of the best tools available for media management and content creation. I worked at the company from 2006 through 2011, and even though it was a small startup, we always had dedicated people working on the project full time. The company recently acquired Mephisto, and since then there hasn't really been any new development. This really shows how committed they are to continuing to provide excellent support to their current customers. We used MLRM back when it was called Lightrock Digital Archive Manager. A lot of this functionality has since moved into the core version or was discontinued. For example, we liked the ability to search within a collection and create "virtual folders" for specific uses (e.g., for specific seasons of television shows, etc.). I like that it is very simple for my staff who are not tech savvy at using this software as they can easily navigate through everything in one place without having too many steps or confusing options! There isn't anything i dislike but if there was something specific please let me know because we have had no problems so far!! We use media manager daily along side our other programs such social networking sites etc..
