I have previously bought 4 sets of hair pins that looked the same and they all broke after I dropped them and one broke. I saw this ad and was amazed by the variety of colors. Unfortunately when they arrived they didn't hold my hair as well and were a lot cheaper. Other clips like this one have a thick silicone coating which is why they hold up so well. It just looks like it's matte plastic. The teeth are much thinner than other brands and this also causes them to slip. Overall I cannot recommend them and am sending them back.
