Have been using this hub for a week now. It works exactly as advertised. I can finally connect everything to my 12" MacBook (and soon my 15" MacBook Pro). Benchmark tests show that I can easily reach 950 Mbit/s via the Gigabit Ethernet connection (tested with Synology NAS) and the SD card. The reader is also extremely fast. It is also available in a portable format and can be carried around in a pocket with little or no additional weight. The only drawback (but I think that's normal): it gets pretty hot with continuous use. But he's stable and that's the main thing. Pros: - works as advertised - very fast and reliable - portable format. Only charge around 14W when powered through this hub instead of 29W). But that was to be expected as it wasn't advertised otherwise. It's just good to know if you were expecting anything else.
