It was a surprise. I didn't expect them to work as well as they are, I've used them in a fiberglass shower with glass doors, porcelain toilet and stainless steel sink (not the same sponge) but the one in the kitchen lasted twice as long as 'clean' sponges " and it doesn't look like they added scratches. Cleaned on fiberglass without a single scratch. The glass is clean as a bell, removing water stains and roughness (hard to hit the corners though). The porcelain is rough but works very well. Does not slip when wearing rubber gloves. Have fun cleaning
