The mounting boxes that were here when I bought the house were almost unusable. I changed the frame twice, adjusted the height of the glass and a few other things, and the best I could get was a 2-3 foot spot of light on the floor while the rest of the room was pretty dark. Flush mounting and the brighter light and color of the LEDs solved this problem. They were easy to install and the main hallway that used to be dark is now blindingly bright. The only thing I don't like is that the spots I put in are now so bright it's impossible to ignore how dirty this place has gotten after years of being too dark to see the dirt.
