Didn't work on the old CRT TV I bought it for (color and black and white stripes flicker). It works great on any TV that already has HDMI ports in addition to the composite ports. -_- IDK if my TV is TOO OLD but didn't work as intended. Wah-wah-wah. I'm still holding onto it, although I'll find other uses for it later. It s cheap. Oh and yes, it's definitely going to be hot oO
