'Good Enough': Soap Makers Review

I bought these because I'm learning how to make soap and caustic soda is very corrosive to human skin (like aluminum ao). !), so I'll look at them from that point of view. For their PURPOSE? You are fantastic. If you just want to protect your hands from hot water, you can't go wrong. They come in packs of two at the price of most individual pairs and the color is very soothing. "Now, as a soap maker, things get a little more complicated. I found these gloves to fit well - too well because they suck a little as you slide in your hands. When it came time to take them off after contact with slippery soapy dough, wet lye, etc., it was almost impossible to take them off without digging your thumb underneath and risking exposing your skin, defeating the whole purpose of wearing them nullified you. . You just have to get creative with how you remove them, or go up a size than usual to work with caustics. However, as expected, they do not react with the alkali solution at all. They were completely intact with no tears or small holes and were very comfortable. They have a bulging "grip" texture on the fingers which helps a lot in not dropping the containers. Conclusion: For the cleaning: 5 stars. For soap making: 4 stars with the caveat that you're fine if you go up a size πŸ‘
