As advertised this is a small LED panel with three levels of brightness. It comes with a USB cable of sufficient length - 5 or 6 feet - and a power adapter. It also comes with two sets of magnetic L-brackets, two round discs, four pieces of 3m tape and two 3m cable management tapes with a plastic cable guide. L brackets can be glued to the bottom of a closet or bookcase. They stay in place, but the lantern can be removed if you want to use it as a flashlight or illuminate something in a different direction than the L brackets. Pretty inventive but simple design. I put mine under the kitchen cabinet above the sink. and oven. This is great for late nights when I don't need full overhead lighting. At full brightness, you can pretty much see what you're doing without a headlight. I probably won't need the other two light stages for this application, but they are there if you need a dimmer output. One star deducted because the first attempt at assembly failed and the L-bracket came loose and fell behind the plate. I contacted the seller and he sent me a new set of L brackets and tape so I didn't have to return the lamp. I had to wait a few days to receive the package. The good news is that the lamp survived a two foot drop onto a countertop, so it should be strong enough. But if you lose your L-Bracket or the tape doesn't hold, you'll have to contact the seller and go through the same process. It would be easier if they included an extra bracket and tape just in case. Installation is a bit tricky, you need to tape the L brackets in place and use a lamp to line them up where they belong, then remove the brackets and stick to the desired surface and allow to cure for at least an hour before inserting the lamp in between the brackets. Clean the surface before applying the tape/clips but make sure it is dry. Use a pencil, porcelain pen or marker to install the L bracket, it should be perfect. One caveat: the instructions say don't leave it on for more than eight hours, it can overheat and burn out the LEDs. I hope the lamp stays in place. I like the functionality and the no-frills utilitarianism of the design. The option to use USB or AC power is great too. and they include a plug adapter. If it works I might add another one for my closet that has doors and is hard to see at night. and maybe my entertainment system which has a CD carousel with hard to see disc slots # making changing discs a little painful. But there are plenty of uses, and the price isn't too high for what you're getting for less than $20.
