The level came with batteries and a battery activation slide. However, when I did this, the laser didn't work. The batteries weren't in the right place and were dead. Looks like whoever put the batteries in there put one of them the wrong way. This must have shorted out the batteries. I replaced the batteries with new ones and they work perfectly. However, I don't have a battery. Plus, there's only what's on the box as far as this tier's features go. It is not entirely clear how the laser modes change. I actually went to the Revain Q&A to find out how it works.
