This is my second Huion tablet. I mainly use the Kamvas Display Tablet, which I really liked, but of course this tablet is bulky, requires a lot of cables and power adapters. I decided to try the Huion HS64 as a portable option as it was a cheap buy and if I hated it I wouldn't have much money. In the end I was pleasantly surprised! To be honest I think my favorite feature of the whole setup is that it runs without a battery. So if I need to rush to Starbucks to meet a customer, this tablet lets me toss my laptop in my bag and not worry about whether or not I forgot to charge it. Quick sketches on site at the customer's are sometimes important for my business. In addition, the tablet and pen are very light due to the lack of batteries. I had to get used to the different pressure sensitivity on this tablet than on my Kamvas. You'll need to make sure you have it set up in your software, and you'll probably need a little more push anyway. I used to draw very easily so it took me a while to get used to it, but now after 4 weeks of use it's no problem. Responsiveness is better than expected for such a cheap tablet. It's almost as good as my Kamvas, but a little slower. However, considering what I use this small travel tray for, I'm not worried about that. Finally, it's worth noting that this little tablet is pretty solid. My girlfriend has a little kid who loves to draw so I let her play with this tablet. I connected it to her mom's Android phone as it didn't require any special software, opened the drawing app and let her go to town. 4 year olds aren't exactly gentle with things, especially when excited, but both the pen and tablet seemed to hold up great and I'm still using them with no problems. So this could also be a good buy for younger children who are trying to encourage or develop their artistic talents but can't seem to get them off electronics. Let's call it a compromise.
