This collar is fantastic! I read the reviews before buying and ordered 1 size smaller and I'm so glad I did! It fits perfectly! I have a 110lb 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Its snout is 11.5 inches and the base of the neck is 20 inches, but you don't need this collar at the base of the neck, but at the top right behind the ears. This ensures a secure, tight and secure fit. This is also the correct position for show rings and dressage collars. I bought training collars, choke chains (both chain and nylon), plucked collars, and a halti leash. NONE of them compare to this collar! He broke his halt tie and he's too strong for me to fix properly with a traditional training collar, but this collar works fantastic! As soon as he arrived I took him for a walk, it was the best and most relaxing walk I have ever had with him! It took him about 10 minutes to get used to it (in the backyard) then once he had settled down and was comfortable we left. He didn't pull, didn't rush, didn't even try to pull me after little Shihtsu, who was barking and rushing towards us. I was in complete and total control and had no pain in my arms after walking with him. lol. I highly recommend this product! I would like to note that I bought the medium size.
