Review on 3D MAXpider Second Custom All Weather Interior Accessories best for Floor Mats & Cargo Liners by Cedric Ziebart

Great, but only very minor surgery may be required.

I bought these for my 2012 Ram Laramie Longhorn Edition (the original floor mats are worn and cost $300 to replace). First off let me say that these are great rugs overall, they are easy to clean, have a nice sophisticated look and will fit in perfectly with most areas. Unfortunately, it turns out that when a manufacturer does their laser measurements (or whatever is actually used to achieve a particular car design) they don't account for other components (like the seat track covers in this case). If the rails/seat covers were missing, these floor mats may fit properly. But they sit exactly in the seating area on the sill because they rest on the seat rail covers, not on the carpet. I will measure and trim the mats to fit these covers to improve the situation. The only other problem is that they create a "bulge" in the mat to provide a tongue that can be attached to the floor. Unfortunately my truck has two tabs (not the ones they are intended for). My passenger mat also has two latches. But it didn't matter. Again, I think these are great floor mats, I bought a set for my Lincoln Navigator a year ago (also had to cut them because the gas pedal got stuck on the edge of the mat. It was very scary. Not fun at all!) and they are very well maintained and as I said, they are easy to clean and also look great. Just don't expect that you won't have to perform a minor surgery. But if you handle it carefully, you won't notice it. UPDATE: 7/18/2017 I really like these mats BUT - the driver's side mat has already worn out in less than 6 months so it's now useless for holding water (or snow in winter). I ride 15 miles a day and have done half a dozen rides of about 500 miles in 6 months to put this into perspective. I work in an office, so the abuse of these things doesn't go beyond what's considered typical. This is the second set I have owned, the previous set was in a Lincoln Navigator and has lasted over a year so far with no worn parts. It may have just been a bad mat or more likely the driver position in the vehicles is different enough to cause more heel wear in my truck either way it won't work so a more durable kit will be ordered.
