This device is ideal for those who want to charge non-USB devices. I shoot a lot on the go and needed a way to charge my computer and camera battery without wasting valuable driving time and this was the perfect solution. The charging speed is comparable to a normal household socket, even when a computer, camera and phone are connected! The cable is long enough to move around my front seat. It does get hot though, like many things that use that amount of power, so I'd recommend keeping it on the floor or on a cup holder. I like the on/off switch, so if it feels too warm I want to turn it off without unplugging anything.
