If you are interested in soap making and just want to get a feel for it, this mold is a great place to start. Compared to other sizes of soap bars after they're demolded (Yardley [pictured with my personal soap], Dove, Caress), they're almost the same size, but maybe 15-25 percent smaller. Great if you want to try your hand at soap making, creating patterns for parties or holidays, or for personal use. The soap comes out of the mold easily after the soap has hardened.
