Oddly this is the first time my toothbrush bristles have failed. I brushed as usual, adjusted to the new head size (I usually do, given my dentist's small size), and within a minute a bristle had managed to fall off the brush onto my tongue (ugh!). Won't happen again but that makes me very suspicious of the quality of the product. What would happen if I swallowed it? I've heard of people getting mysterious emergencies of internal bleeding from swallowed bristles from brushes and the like - I wish my grocery store stocked quality dentists. It hasn't happened again so I agree for now but they just don't feel in the mouth.
