Review on Tion Brush Ceramic Ionic Roller by Christine Bryant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally. Someone got it right!

I refused to buy this item because of the cost. But after 2 or 3 years of buying a useless disposable brush/curling iron, I decided to give this styling brush/straightener another chance. I read and got no closer to answering my questions. I've been using a similar styling brush, the Braun Shaper/Styler, which uses energy elements, for about 25 years since Braun introduced it. Braun eventually discontinued this product and will no longer support it with power cells required for use. The Tron is even better than my favorite Braun styling/shaping iron which I have always used as a comparison to many of the products I have used when looking for a replacement. I have short layered hair and my hair is fine. and thinning. Tron does everything it says. The 3/4 barrel is perfect for short to medium hair. It's strong enough for thick and heavy hair and soft enough for short and thinning hair thanks to multiple temperature settings. This is the only comb/straightener I've tried looking for the "right one" that doesn't tangle my hair. It's extremely powerful and heats up almost instantly, and with multiple temperature settings, everyone can comfortably use at least a heat setting or two. I think it would be impossible to burn the scalp or face due to the way it is made. Unlike most other stylers of this type, it grips and holds even short and thin hair. It can create a sleek look or used to add volume where you want it, and you can also create softer or tighter curls. It can even be used on hair that has not been freshly shampooed and has already been treated with styling products, making it ideal for touch-ups. Have you ever wondered why most manufacturers of these types of products always take so long to run when not needed? This barrel is the perfect length and I was surprised it was about the same length as my old Brown. Brown got it right because you can never use the full length of a curling brush and most companies never realized that the extra useless shaft length just makes it more difficult to use. Tron got it right too! I know this review is long, but I hope I've answered the questions of those of you who, like me, have been looking for the perfect styling brush/straightener. I always wonder what can be done to improve this product. To be honest, I couldn't think of anything that could be done better or improved. I love this perfect instrument so much that I am seriously considering ordering another one. Brown scared me that everything I love and believe in will disappear. Most manufacturers don't seem to know anything about this type of product and in my opinion all the brushes/irons I've tried were clones of each other. This is the first truly innovative product I've tried that actually works as it should and as advertised. Yes, Tron is expensive, but I know that Tron would be cost-effective in the long run when I add up the cost of all the many products I've bought and end up throwing them away because they just don't work for me.

Pros
  • MAXIMUM COMFORT: Round-tipped bristles add comfort, while a heat-resistant handle and cool tip make styling easy.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
