I feed different cattle on the same pasture. I had to get away from round baling for a day or two. I was nervous about trying this but I'm so glad I did. I still feed with a metal round bale feed, some holes are gnawed but I can easily patch them. The amount of hay saved is insane when the bales are done there is nothing left. No more wasted hay. Putting on the net takes some practice and is usually done by more than one person. If you live where it's cold, we'll bring the net overnight before you use it to thaw, if not, you can't put it in the cold. I expect to replace it within 6-8 months but that's not bad considering 7 big animals eat it.
