Patience and pressure
I put these on my 2018 Unlimited Sahara. The right side fits well, no complaints. On the left side I had to use extra tape and press hard for a considerable amount of time to stick. I do not know why. Use tweezers to peel off the glue (much quicker than my nails and won't ruin the tape when you start it). You look good!
