We spent a lot of time researching a board to buy and this was one of the winners. It does take a long time to blow up even with an electric pump. I feel safe on the board for the times this summer I used it. I do always check the pressure level and add a little more air then stated just for extra sturdiness. With the amount suggested I do feel comfortable but I feel even better when it has a little more. They are easy to deflate and store at the end of the season.
