Review on White KidKraft Nantucket Wooden Toddler Bed with Wainscoting Detail, High Side Rails - Ideal Gift for 15-Month-Old Toddlers by Chris Lacasse

Disappointing. the best in baby cots

We received it last week. There were dents on the box, so I was skeptical. We opened it and a few pieces had chipped off. I contacted customer service, let's see what happens. The instructions are clear. My concern is that the bed is made up of "2" parts: the length is made up of 2 parts, the sides to prevent falling, and the railing for the rest of the length. They are connected by a piece of metal with 4 screws (on each side). First, the pre-drilled holes were wrong so we had to redo them. Second, it means that if we decide to take the bed apart and then put it back together (moving, baby #2), I'm not too sure about its durability. I should have gone with the Davinci sled: it was cheaper, no shipping, and much better problem solving with the Revain. Also, Davinci looks like the railing is one piece rather than two pieces as is the case here. Our little girl loved it though, she jumped on her "my bed, my big baby bed" right away, so I like it. The comments with stickers are not visible when the mattress is on the bed. But I still regret not getting another one.

Pros
  • Wooden railings on both sides for extra security
Cons
  • Not bad
