I have an Acer desktop PC that I really like. The reviews were excellent and it worked great. The only thing that bothered me was the presence of only one USB port on the front. This makes copying from one USB drive to another really difficult. This was the perfect solution to my problem. I've never used the USB-C port on the front of my PC, so this was the perfect addition. The cord is short and the device itself is very compact so it doesn't bother you at all. It has 2 additional USB ports which I wanted plus HDMI, SD and Micro SD. Basically it does everything to transfer files. All ports work great and the transmission speed is very good. The compact size also makes it portable. It was the perfect, inexpensive way to expand my PC's capabilities without spending a lot of money.
