I use it as a tool bag in my back pocket.
This bag is probably fine for carrying a phone, but I bought it to use as a back pocket for EDC tools. He is perfect. Fills my back pocket and doesn't stick out very far. I can store small Knipex pliers, a socket wrench, small side cutters, etc. in it. It's soft and durable, so I'm protected from sharp tool edges. Plenty of interior space, yet compact enough to fit in your pocket.
