Was looking for a portable travel solution for voiceover and production. I ordered this item and received it within 36 hours. Set up was easy and it hooked up to the hotel in about 10 minutes. I connected it to my MacBook Pro, opened Adobe Audition and it became an input device. Initially it wouldn't let me record because the audio sampling rate didn't match between input and output. All I had to do was open the midi settings and adjust the input sample rate and volume to capture quality sound right in the hotel room. This mic has good frequency response and sensitivity, so be aware of your surroundings and be aware of background noise. Once disassembled, it fits perfectly back into the box, which fits securely in a regular carry-on bag.
