As an insert, it works. I've washed it in hot water several times over the past few months and there are no cracks on the waterproof part. Some moisture seeps in, but it's not too much (I took a full bag out of the bucket and put it on the floor, let it sit for about an hour, leaving a trail of moisture on the floor). The most annoying thing is the huge amount of fabric in this bag. I have three different brands of liners that I use for my Ubi bucket and the other two work great. DAS has so much stuffed around the ring holder that I have to position the cloth correctly or the bucket lid keeps popping open. It's also annoying when I go into the washing machine to empty my bag and the diapers get stuck in all the creases and creases when I try to turn the bag inside out. This is inconvenient and cumbersome; When it comes time to switch to this bag between washes, I groan and internally curse it every time.
