Review on πŸ”₯ Silver Broan-NuTone PM390 Power Pack Range Hood Insert with Exhaust Fan and Light Combo for Kitchen Stove – 390 CFM by Robert Correa

Plastic lens caps break very easily

Lens hood insert fits. It's noisy and not very comfortable. It could have been designed better. I give him 3 stars. However, the plastic lamp, also called light lens, is very bad. I give MINUS 1 STAR. The plastic is of such poor quality that I would not have bought this hood liner if I had known how bad it was. The two small plastic clips that hold the lens on the front of the device over the light source are very thin. They must be touched and a little force is used to remove them from the grille in order to clean them and the grille that covers the bottom of the hood panel. ANY pressure on the plastic will snap the clips. Broan obviously doesn't do any quality research to ensure that the material/plastic used actually works properly. A 2-pack from Broan costs $14.28 plus shipping. Every online review I've found gives these plastic light lenses a maximum of 1 star. Many reviewers tried replacing them 4 or more times and they ALL broke. I will try to glue the clip with epoxy. No other glue will work with this type of plastic. If the clip won't stick or breaks again I try to glue the lens to the outside of the grille myself. If that doesn't help I'll buy the entire hood liner from a company other than Broan.
