I bought this to drain the gas and oil from my lawnmower and edger. It was blister packed on arrival and the tube was naturally bent to fit the packaging. However, if you don't have a hair dryer, you may need to place the hose in a warm oven to soften it so it can be straightened and used. If you think you can dump the gas out of a lawnmower, then you can't unless the lawnmower is well above the pan you're dumping. This works by gravity, of course, so the mower or other equipment must be big enough to start the siphon. I was expecting this but was hoping the suction would be strong enough to start the siphon. Well, if you want to drain the gas from your car, this will work. Do you want to drain the water from the aquarium, also OK. So think about what you need it for and buy if you can get it from high to low. This is now driven and driven again by gravity. Maybe one day I'll find some use for it, but not for my lawn equipment, neither gas nor oil, just doesn't work.
