We have a well with very rusty, hard water. This filter is phenomenal for the price. I've had trouble finding replacement cartridges and I'm really glad I found them here at Revain. During the winter we used more cartridges than usual, but we had to leave water in every sink and tub to keep us warm. I have double width with no footer. If it hadn't happened, it would have taken a lot longer. The water is so beautifully clear with this filter and I have saved thousands of dollars by not buying a commercial system. along with the old used one. Even when it is in need of replacement, you can see that the clean side is still very clean. The dirty side is so rusty. I would definitely recommend this item, it works in the Home Depot Glacier Bay Water Filtration System which I have also included a photo of. Home Depot has stopped selling replacement cartridges for them, they are compatible.
