I needed some cheap mics for a last minute recording project and they were recommended to me by several articles on the 'best' mics to buy. However, when I tried to use them, they made an awkward hissing sound that I couldn't seem to get rid of no matter how hard I tried. (Multiple cables, different inputs, etc.). Luckily I had a second microphone as a backup. They get a second star because they look and feel good, the capsules are easy to change and my return was very quick and easy. This may actually be a great budget option for many, but unfortunately I've come across a bad one.
