Works as advertised. If you don't know what Dex-Cool is, then you're not cool. Just kidding. Dex-Cool is an additive that most European and domestic car manufacturers use as an essential coolant in their vehicles. If your coolant is orange to gold in color, then it's Dex-Cool. If it's green or red, it's a conventional coolant. By the way, it is safe to replace your traditional coolant with Dex-Cool. I switched to this on my 2002 Lexus IS300 where I have used factory and conventional coolant with and without additives such as Red Line Water Wetter. It works fine with no problems. I can't say I've had heat issues, but I did notice that the legroom wasn't as hot as it used to be. guess it works. I only used 1.5 on a full charge of my IS300, including starting the engine and making it gurgle.
