I like the heat that the fireplace gives off and I can choose the temperature range with the remote control. I have another (cheaper) fireplace upstairs and I like the flames from the cheaper one. The flames on this model are not realistic at all like my other one. However, I like the features of this model better. It comes with Bluetooth so you can conveniently download it to your phone or tablet and then turn on the fireplace to warm up the room before entering. It also has a timer in case you're worried you'll forget to turn it off. I like this idea. Be prepared to spend some time on this. The instructions are easy to read and understand, but it took my husband and our friend about 3 hours to get together. It is very durable and solid. It's also very heavy and the courier said he could only put it at my door, he couldn't carry it to the room I wanted so have a plan ready.
