later Basically I cannot recommend these fittings. because they match the new bathroom aesthetics, which have been completely renovated (from the floor to the fittings!). I bought them in February 2020, opened the packaging and saw what appeared to be well made (heavy duty) faucets with a few surface chips on the top that didn't bother me enough to send them back (that was my first mistake!), and such they were installed about a month later when we got to this part of the repair. Pros: They are beautiful out of the box. The matte black finish and the aforementioned heavy feel of the metal they're made from give you a false sense of security that you've bought something really good at a much cheaper price than a similar item in a big store. Cons: Just go ahead and throw away the drain plugs. After two visits to the plumber and countless modifications with a lot of plumber's putty, they wouldn't stop leaking. We finally bought others and have had no problems since. The "Quick Connect" plumbing just couldn't be hooked up behind the sink of one of the sinks...when you have a narrower sink cabinet without much clearance. To get your clumsy forearms back to where they need to be plugged in, you can forget about running hot or cold water to those faucets. During the first two weeks, these faucets leaked at the top of the handle bases. After I stuffed in more plumbing putty and tightened the nut underneath to the point where I was wary of the marble top of the sink, it stopped...I think. Here's the thing, I bought them on purpose because they looked amazing. If you've seen my photos, you're obviously joking because immediately after installation, the finish began to peel off in small flakes, like heavy scales. Every small dent or scratch left a shiny silver or brass-colored stain on the surface. Now, a year later, the faucet spouts began to ripple and bubble like they were thirty years old, heavily used, and wet. Sigh. Basically I think I got what I paid for. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT put them in your shopping cart... You will end up buying new faucets like me within a year which will cost you a lot more in the long run.
