At high speeds on a motorcycle you can't hear what the other person is saying. It's so hard because the wind is louder than the sound. it is strange. I can hear music pretty well, but it gets REALLY static and hard to hear the other person when using bluetooth. In general - it works. I've had it for 3 months now. No questions. Holds a charge well enough. EDIT: 4/12/19 Seller contacted and sent a new speaker to see if the sound quality improved. I installed it and so far so good. At maximum volume, like any cheap speaker, you will hear distortion. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with my purchase. For the price you get what you need. Would recommend if you don't want to spend $$$$ on an intercom. This one does the job. I can't give it 5 stars because my husband has another model that sounds amazing. My rating is 4/5 because the seller is attentive with good communication and I was offered a replacement to help with the sound quality.
