Better than it looks

I have long, thick, curly hair and it's quite heavy. When I wear it in my ponytail I like it when it's secure because I only do it during workouts. I'm always looking for hair ties that will hold my hair securely without too much pain. At first I was very disappointed with these hair bands. They seem too soft and the first one I tried stretched almost immediately. However, when I gather my ponytail in the right spot on my head, they hold up really securely, although I have to wrap them 3 times when 2 is fine for me.
